Our Patio is Finished!

As a lot of you know, we've been working since LAST spring to make a nice outdoor space in the backyard.  We managed to get the firepit done and put some pavers down for the glider, but that was it.
This year we decided we had to finish it.  It's taken a couple of months, working and buying a little at a time but it is now finished.

I'm so proud of the backyard now.  Where once there was an unfriendly, unlivable space there is now a great spot for conversation, grilling and enjoying life outdoors!

No, it's not foggy - it's Daniel grilling!  And no, that's not Frankie's Shiner Bock, it's Grandma's (mine)

Path from the back door to the door of the workshop.  As anyone who has been in our backyard knows, this was a real trouble spot.  It gets very little to no sun so very little grass grows here.  When it rains it turns into a slippery mud pit.  Now we have a nice walkway and I've transplanted some monkey grass (that stuff grows anywhere) along the side of the workshop to give us some greenery.
And last, but not least, we decorated my beloved Skye's last resting place.  The ivy should grow to cover the ground and make a lovely green spot where we remember her always.
